SHIVA-SHAKTI

Universe is “one verse.” It is a song of happiness sung by the primordial dynamic force called Shakti. Her song/word/sound creates akasha (space). Her effulgence creates light that forms stars and their planets. The Universe appears in time. When its time is up, it dissolves into the stasis—Shiva, the Divine Source.

After eons of rest Shakti again separates from the stasis, “Shiva.” The purpose is to realize the polar opposite. Shakti is dynamic by nature and Shiva is stasis. She creates and preserves and evolution takes its course. The numinous appear.

Mankind is a thinking race. Nature is conscious. Humans are self-conscious. It is the self-consciousness that causes humans to realize their stasis or divine nature. Humans are the highest evolute of Shakti to realize and experience their own divinity—the Source.

Shakti, after separating from Siva, orchestrates everything. After creating and completing each form, she turns into a coil (Kundalini) dormant at the base of every form. In humans after the completion of the body she rests at the base of the spine. After all the desires in human form are contented, the dormant Kundalini awakens and ascends back to embrace her counterpart, Shiva, that resides in the head—causing total illumination, a state of complete transcendence.
