"If we define a genius as one
who leads the species in major new directions then Sri Shyamji qualifies on two
counts. Both pertain to the future spiritual evolution of humankind. His
first contribution is at the theoretical level and deals with the subtle energy
field which pervades our body just as radio waves do. It is invisible and
completely non-measurable by any physical means at the present time. This field
has been known since ancient times to contain 7 major wheels of spinning energy
called chakras.Shyamji, through his power of inner vision, has discovered that
each of these chakras contains 21 microchakras. It is the different combination
of energies flowing through these microchakras which powers the enormous
variety of psychological and spiritual activity in people. Shyamjis
second and related contribution is in the field of subtle sound. He is a master
at activating the subtle sounds which send energy into the microchakras. This
helps to improve the quality of our thoughts and feelings. It can also
transport us beyond them. Thousands of listeners, over the years, have
experienced higher states of awareness through hearing the unique qualities of
his sounds. These are produced by his inspired chanting and playing of a
stringed instrument of ancient origin called a tamboura".

"This is a note of both appreciation
and recognition of your contribution to the study of body process and
psychology. It has been my pleasure to have studied with you during this last
year, including classes, workshops for therapists, and the use of sound and
your tapes in my private practice of psychotherapy. In general, the most
significant advances are a very systematic and innovative system of
categorizing personality types and problems, along with new treatment
techniques and therapeutic considerations. This system has impressed me with a
holistic approach including diet, meditation, energy systems, and the use of
sound in resolving emotional conflicts. I have used several of the tapes,
especially designed by you for help in anxiety, depression, fear, and anger,
and have noticed positive changes in many of my clients.I offer my professional
opinion of the importance to support further research activities.I am
continuing to participate in studying this system at the present time".

Shyam Bhatnagar offers a
cosmology of chakras functioning more complex and detailed than any
other healing practitioner I found. Combining his personal experience with
information from traditional Vedantic and Tantric scriptures, he developed
Microchakra Psychology which he feels is a new paradigm for understanding
the human psyche and how it develops chronologically through time.
